Yeah the second car, I'm sure the garage is in Bradford and used to be called something else if I remember correctly. I may be wrong though.

Step 1. Decline their offer of SupaGuard.
Step 2. Decline their offer of a £2600 warranty
Step 3. Decline their offer on your current car
Step 4. Attempt to negotiate a better deal on their car (which really should include an extended warranty).
Step 5. If you aren't successful at Step 4, then walk away. There is no shortage of C63s for sale at that sort of price.
Step 6. If you are successful at Step 4, then sell your current car privately.

Mate just over a year ago I sold a blue VXR vectra 06 plate on 40k for £6000 private sale!

Do not take £1500 that is ludicrous, at least try WBAC or private sale, depending on the colour it should be twice that

Turn down Supaguard and that warranty. Plus don't forget the problems with that red paint happening to most people, there are users on here that could tell you some stories

It does indeed say two years free servicing, but this isn't the same as two years warranty, but it should come with one years warranty being MB Approved Car.

You could get a new on on PCP then change it after 3 years for another new one, I know you will never own it but you get a new car every 3 years for less than £300 p/m

C63's MB were talking just under five figures for the deposit to get it to less than £300 per month when I enquired, that's on cars £32k-£34k

It's more £600 per month on a facelift with big deposit, £689 per month no deposit on a pre-facelift with performance pack

Those are the figures I was given anyway

They gave me a quote of £600 on a £27k 10'plate with the pack, no deposit and that was the same for HP and PCP, I didn't delve into it enough to see what was in that price I.e Supaguard/warranty etc as I didn't want a 10 plate at the time

I think that's a reasonable monthly price but still would like to shop around to get that figure down, I'd pay that on a facelift happily! Lol

Mines a 10 plate I bought on 38k. I pay a sizeable chunk less than that. I took all my money out of my PX as cash so only placed a small deposit. HP.

Sound advice this. Oracle I've used before.

They couldn't beat the deal I have on my current one though.

Sell your car privately, buy privately the best example you can (if possible), with the cash that you have! There again, I am a little old fashioned

I traded in my 2009 rx8 r3 last year for a c63 and mb edinburgh gave me £4.5k for my car and 1k off towards a 12 plate c63 with free supaguard and 6 months tax on it. sounds like you need to find another car/dealer. MB Aberdeen tried to rip us off during my visit and wouldnt budge an inch. funny how they call you a few weeks later asking if you are still interested on a car they advised would sell within a week. Comical look on the salesman's face when i dropped of the car for its service ha.

I know px means you take a big hit but normally they give you top trade price because they don't knock anything off the price of the car you are buying. But I would not expect it to be as low as £1500 for an 09 VXR VEc when these these are in the classified at £5995
