Looking to change my front brake pads. Have noticed euro car parts have ATE ceramic so looked at a few reviews some good and some bad.
Any recommendations on pads to buy? EBC Red Stuff came up in a few searches but some people saying that the initial bite is not as good.
Hi, I am just wondering if anybody uses ceramic brake pads? I have a W204 C220 CDI and I am getting a lot of brake dust from the pads that were fitted before i bought it. I believe ceramic pads give off a light grey dust that isn't prone to sticking to your rims but I also heard that ceramic...
I am having my 19" amg wheels refurbished, powder coated, and am looking for a ceramic type brake pad.
My front calipers are the type where the pads are inserted from the side, not requiring removal of the caliper.
I am struggling to find any sellers that have the correct pads shown, ie...
Firstly I'd need a normal set of E63 brakes in exchange but I have a full set of carbon ceramic brakes for a w/s212. Massive stopping power and said to last 300,000 km.
Got a be worth while to someone with a weistec supercharged e63?
Hi guys, gauging interest on my DPE exhaust manifolds because I may sell up soon. These are good for 570hp with a tune on a normal C or E 63.
I think after import taxes and shipping etc, I paid around £2400 for them a few months ago. I haven't fitted them and as such, they are brand new...
Any one recommend the best place to buy Ceramic Torpedo Type Fuses? I hear copper ones are the best, but I can't seem to find them.
Most of ebay ones don't look like copper... I did buy a set from ebay, but the quality is utter rubbish!

Having had a number of black cars (current one included) I'm aware of how they can be a bit of a nightmare to keep looking good. A friend has just bought a BMW 435d in black also, and is thinking about getting it...

Booked the car in to have a ceramic coating applied. Feeling a little unsure as if any mistakes are made its not like it can be just rubbed off.
I was thinking of asking him to also coat the wood interior as I've noticed it scratches very easy which I'm not impressed with.
THIS is amazing!!

The front discs on my w204 are on their way out and its fair to say I'm disappointed with their life (they have worn quite a lot faster than the first set of pads!). For this reason alone I am wondering whether there are better parts out there than the OE discs?
I've seen a couple of guys...

Just thought I'd post to see if anyone has any thoughts on this. Just placed a deposit on a new car and they've tried their usual upsell tactic of paint & upholstery protection.
I've told them not to bother, but the dealer is offering an AutoGlym protection for the interior & exterior. I...
