Apparently there is 1,1 litre of oil in the diff, mercedes is selling one litre bottle for 25 pounds, ouach:wallbash: Is there any oil that would be suitable to use and from a reputable company but not at the rip off price from the stealer knowing that I'll need 2 bottle... Cheers. Olivier

Just had some tires changed today and the front left wheel as a teeny wobbly feeling. We tried to take out the bearing cap/ hub to look at it but no luck, it didn't move. Before taking the hammer and bash it to move it out of the way, is there an easiest way to do it? Cheers. Olivier

Hey guys! I've got a W210 300TD, 98. Its leaking ATF from just beside(left side) the transmission mount. Its some sort of sensor with a cable attached. And the atf leaks from between the sensor and the cable not between the transmission and the sensor. Would some one give me the part...

I was just wondering what sort of MPG people got out of ther E300TD's, I seem only to be getting early 20's around town and late 20's on a run. I would have thought I should get a bit more. The car has done 176k and it isn't smoky. I look forwards to hearing from other owners.

Hi I'm thinking of doing a B service (175K miles) on my e class does anyone know what filters, oli etc that I will need? I've been quoted to do the service between £159 ( kwik Fit) to about £300 by local MB dealer. So I want to see how much I will saving doing it myself.

Evening Buddies On Saturday, my beloved E300TD sprang a bad oil leak on the inboard coupling union to the oil cooler rad in front of the N/S front wheel. God knows why - It just happened out of the blue. :( Oil all over the place !! Shouldn't have too much rust around there for a while ! Easy...

Hello, Lidl is selling W5 15W40 spec 228.1 and 229.1 and winergy 15W40 spec 229.1 at good prices. Mercedes told me they used 0W40 before. Will it be OK to jump to 15W40 :cool: or not at all :crazy: ? Too thick perhaps? cheers :bannana:
