esp

i was driving along today and the on the on-board computer it showed errors for ESP ABS and BAS and when i restarted the car it turned off does anybody know why this has happened its not the first time its happened

WHile driving home yesterday the BAS/ESP Light came on, must have been for a good half hour, then it vanished and hasn't some on since. Just wondered if anybody knows what might have caused it or if I should do something about it?
