I just wondered if the Mercedes Pentosin ABC hydraulic oil harms paint like say brake fluid does? Similarly does brake cleaner wreck paintwork?

Hi Chaps, I have a 2007 w204 6 speed manual and was wondering where the clutch fluid reservoir is, that's assuming that it is hydraulic and not cable. My previous car was a Rover 75 and the clutch fluid reservoir was on top of the clutch pedal and a real pig to get at. Many thanks Paul

My E220CDI had the auto transmission fluid changed at 44,000 miles. It has now done 89,000 miles. The next service is a few months away, should I have the fluid changed again, or is it a once only thing? I am planning to keep the car long term.

I do my own oil changes & would like to use one of these hand pumps, or maybe one I can hook up to my air compressor. Any suggestions??
