Hi all, after finding a few hints on carrying out this repair I though I would take a few pics as I went to help others. As Im usually useless at diy stuff like this I figured this thread would give others like me confidence to carry out what is a very simple job to rectify what must be a common...

Thinking about part-exchanging my wife's 20 month old Ford. Car had a bash at the back last summer - quite an expensive insurance job - and I'm wondering if this will show up on some sort of car history check by the purchasing dealer. Car is absolutely fine so this is not information I will...

Hi All,
Does anyone know if there is a replacement heat pad for the clk drivers seat bottom? I have tried Europarts and they don't do a replacement. Merc main dealer says they can't get the part anymore as they come as part of the leather cover.
Any help would be great.
Thanks

Hi guys, I am looking for some advice please.

However it does have one major problem; It jumps out of first gear.
I need to sort this, and am...

Hi,
Sadly, some careless driver managed to end the life of the wing mirror on my 54-plate facelift C180 Kompressor.
I took it to my local MB dealership, and they told me the repair would cost £415 in PARTS ALONE, with extra costs added for labour.
After I had recovered from the minor...

Hi, I've just purchased a high mileage SLK230 and it seems to have lead a hard life in the trim department. It's like the DPO would get bored and pick the leather console whilst parked, or he had a fetish for keys on his left hand side.
That and the worn door handle are all that lets the...
At last My Sat Nav command system is all working perfectly.
I was quoted £2,095 by the main dealers in Northampton so I looked into having it repaired and found a repair service in Croydon, London that offered to repair the head unit at a fraction of what Mercedes would charge for a new unit.

I have two Mercedes vehicles which are down on performance and have mpg's 25-45% lower than when I first purchased them and I believe the issue is down to the DPF factory fitted to both.
