Hi guys, just had my secondary cats deleted. Now I know these used to be worth a bit as I sold a set off my old clk a few years, has anyone sold any recently and if so what are they fetching?
On a seperate note the car is still too quiet (w208 clk55) so I'm going back next week to remove the...
After one small & cheap advert I sold my faithful E200 auto to the first viewer, I was happy to sell, got my time and value out of it but on the other hand I was sorry to see it go - I've a few fond memories of the car.
So, I did a bit of totting up on costs & deprecation. I did 55k miles...
well well well, i posted this up a few weeks back asking if the 8K price tag was optimistic. most replies said yes, it should be half the price. well...it has sold.

I've had it for sale for a couple of years but only half heartedly as I was hoping that either I would shrink or the car get higher as I had trouble getting in and out due to RA.
I shall miss it tremendously as it was lovely to drive.
Hi guys after some advice regarding what to purchase next as i sold my CL55 yesterday (it was starting to show its age).
criteria:
Only have approx 10-12K, need 4 doors so coupes are out. I like big engines so not fussed about MPG and want reliability, one consideration was a Cayenne :o
The SL60 has moved on to a new owner much quicker than I had planned or hoped. Was going to sell next year but a well know forum member contact me and a deal was done.
I am sure you will hear and see more about the car over time. The new owner will certainly look to improve it to keep it in...
Ha never thought it would get that much!!
Not in UK though! Decided it was an opportunity not to miss on moving over to Australia. Put an ad on the Australian version of Autotrader, and it sold to the first person to come and see it!
So will be hanging up my MB hat and sticking the BMW one...
As title says I purchased a selection of "new" service components for my W201 from them recently. This weekend I decided to fit them but found to my horror and disgust the oil container was in a shocking state. Full of oil and even had the end cap still on it.
This part has obviously never...
As title says I purchased a "new" window regulator for my ml from them yesterday. Today I decided to fit it but found to my horror and disgust the part was in a shocking state. Full of grease and even has the ends of rivets still in it.
This part has obviously been fitted to a car in the past...
So in the end, it turns out a mint CLK 430 Cab with 80K miles on the clock is only worth £4000.
I knew the first person to see it would buy it, but a little disappointed how much Mercedes depreciate.
So, I wonder what I should get next? :dk:
My Autotrader advert went live at 10pm last night, got a call 15 mins later and a couple this morning. Couple got there first at 1pm, gave full asking price and drove off in it.
Really wish I'd asked for more now! Still I think it was a good deal for the car.
Here's the advert, hope...
Hello
obviously I am new here!
I sold my 535 yesterday and picked up a 2002 CLK 200k manual.
I know everyone says that I should have bought the 230 auto but this is the one that I wanted and I have to say that I am really made up with it.
had to sell my beloved c36 a while back due to the fact of hopefully making it to oz in the late summer....wasnt sustainable due to tax at nearly 1800euro a year and me still being classed in the "boy racer" insurance category...i will get another one hopefully!!
picked up a volvo s70 t5 at a...
