Thankfully, I wasn't driving.
On the way home on Monday, I'm in the back of my mates car minding my own business when the anchors go on and I hear him say "**** sakes".
Turns out a modded Jap sports car had tried to overtake the car in front (in a 30 MPH limit) , lost it whilst pulling in...
Having spent a few hours going through every menu option, reading the manual over and over, I cant get the satnav to work properly. The problem appears to be the satnav thinkss the car is about 1/4 of a mile away from where it actually is. I have driven to junctions and re-set the "location" and...

In order to create unbiased and balanced talk, this thread can talk about what is great out owning an MB.
So my turn first..

You still gets heads...
Just wanted to share with you my thanks to my MB for being a classy cruiser one minute, a very powerful beast the next, and then a work horse to boot. Yesterday on a demolition site - i winced a little when reversing in over the made up ground
Well, on the drive to Cambridge actually
Every time I accelerated, (and revs rose above ~2000rpm ) I could hear what sounded like the aircon fan ramping up. Only for as long as the car was accelerating hard, as I eased off the noise stopped. The aircon fan was running all the time...
Hi Guys,
Well the title said it really, sat in my car and while it was warming up I remembered that I haven't cleared the snow on my windshield so I tried my luck with the wipers and wellllllll the driver's side snapped off! Blade is okay but the actual arm is broken:(
my own stupid fault so...
I got a phone call from my wife yesterday telling me that her car won't start:crazy: .
From this moment I wasn't sure what to do, so I thought it must be a women thing. So I told her that I couldn't be bothered to go to tesco car park to find the problem.

I have just placed an order for a SLK 200 Kompressor Auto. Delivery in a couple of weeks. Being driving MX5's for 7 years and have loved every minute of it. Can't praise them enough particulary when you consider how cheap they are.
Going back to the SLK my test drive was interesting. In most...
Called my local Inchcape to see what haggling I could do over service / work on the new (but not here yet) R129, they ran the VIN said they havent seen it for 18 months (its on assyst) and told me oh its in here now
Why I asked - well the roof needs resetting and it probably needs a new...
As a truely British car any more?
A car that has all its major components MADE (not just assembled) in Britain?
TVR was the last one I can think of, but of course they are no more.
Morgan?
Bristol?
Noble?
??????
If the answer is in the negative, what a sorry state of affairs. :mad...
It appears that whilst putting some of the trim back together on my CLK (W209) I managed to drop a screw into the gear box selector
Whilst it doesn't appear to have caused any problems I am worried about it being in there! Any ideas how to get the thing out ? Is it likely to blow...
