12v from overhead light cluster - C55 W203

Hi

Has anybody taken 12v from the overhead light cluster on a w203 c-class. I want to fir my Snooper sapphire up at the rear view mirror so a 12v feed would be extremely handy. This should switch on/off with the ignition.

Any pics would be even handier.

Hi, if you need it will switch on/off with the ignition, I suggest to make a connection from the 12V plug in the consolle. It's not such a big troube to dismount and pass the cable, probably here there are some instruction how to dismount the center consolle, than you have to pass the cable below driver side, behing the plastic, and than go up below the A pillar.
