16 Days of ownership CL55 Stock to Modified (pic heavy)

Looks mint, definitely a credit to you!

I'm just about to look and hopefully purchase the 600 version and like you, I need to get some maintenance/paintwork niggles fixed ASAP before I can actually enjoy the car.

How difficult were the 35mm drop links to install and what did they set you back, looks great lowered a bit!

Did you get the oil/fluids changed at a indie/dealer or do it yourself, a rough ball park on getting this done would be nice to know. :thumb:

Thanks,

The drop was straight forward with the adjustable lowering links, you simple remove the stock non-adjustable links and adjust the new ones and simply click them in place and it's just a case of trial and error till you get it sat as you like.

Here's the ones I bought, great service they arived the following day:

I did them myself friday night at work.

I picked up a can of this stuff from our paint supplier as well as a high temp primer:

Then went and grabbed a sheet of 3M car cover used to cover cars when having paint work done and covered the entire car, I had it up on a work ramp so with all the wheels removed I masked up the rear brakes leaving just the caliper exposed and the fronts I was fitting new discs and pads anyway so just masked off what I had to then set off spraying them.

Ive done calipers this way lots of times and it probably takes 30mins to mask up then 20 mins to paint and there dry in another 30 mins its that simple I then applied the Brembo graphics
