190 boot lid...

The boot lid on my 190 requires a fairly hefty 'slam' before it will shut, and yet the lid on my 260e closes with the lightest of touches. The boot is very slightly proud of the passenger rear wing, although I know for a fact the vehicle has had no accident damage. Could the boot be twisted? The push button of the lock itself remains stiff even though I have oiled it regularly.
Does any one else have similar problems?

check the rubber seal isn't damaged as well

Also worth doing is to rotate the rubber seal 180 degrees.

Thanks John Jones Jr! I thnk I'm going to adjust the lock and buy a new seal which wouldn't be a bad thing.
