I wasn't getting all that excited about the first spy shots - it looked too quashed, tall and two-door-saloon like rather than a sleeker coupe!

But this....

....now that does look good! If this is what it actually looks like and they've not photoshopped it to look longer/lower then it's very pretty! And if they've managed to stiffen the structure a bit to rid the W204 chassis of the steering column wobble that you get in the C63's (and only in the C63's...probably due to the stiffer set-up) then it's a winner and in the running to be my next car!

Have to admit it's not inspiring me to like it much, it strikes me as a little wrong for the C-Class, maybe a little too bluky looking, i don't know, just can't say i'm a an straight off

I think the newly released pictures look great. I must be the only person who CAN see the point of it - it's exactly what I would look for...

But what exactly is the point since we already have a C class coupe (they call it E class coupe but it is based on the C class platform with exactly the same wheelbase). Presumably it will offer mostly the same choice of engines, electronic extras, etc etc.

As the bard said: that which we call a rose, by any other name would smell as sweet.

It does look a little better in those newer pictures, still can't say i'm an instant fan though .... although, i don't have to worry too much, cause it'll be a few years before i can afford it and my tastes will have changed by then :lol:
