Trying to make sense of the responses in terms of dates and thank you to those that have at least chosen preferred dates! The bad news is that there is going to be some disappointment as at least one person has said they cannot make each of the 8 dates.

Right now 3 Saturday's are the most popular 7th, 14th and 21st as all 3 are currently on 7 votes. 3 more votes for either of them and we have a decision!

SATURDAY 14th July 2012...... Brooklands to Bluewater 12 hour Extravaganza....

Mark the date in your calendars ..... SATURDAY 14th JULY........2012's Mercedes BB GTG 12 heures (took me minutes to think that up!)......

Apologies to those that have already said they are are unable to attend on that date but it was impossible to set a date that with all our busy schedules everyone can make.

I will speak to Mercedes Benz at MBW to see if we can get any club discounts etc.

GTG Part 1 Brooklands

I suggest we meet from 12pm at Brooklands allowing those that wish to take part in driving experiences to also have enough time to socialise.

Brooklands closes at 6:30pm at which point those that wish to continue on to Bluewater can take a leisurely drive around the M25.

GTG Part 2 Bluewater

Official Bluewater GTG start time 7:30pm until late and to avoid any confusion EXACT parking directions will be given out closer to the date.

Have spoken briefly with the events team at MBW, and will likely have some offers put together for people to take up should there be enough interest. Will keep you posted but get registering.

MBW have just come back to me, obviously the time is quite tight so we cant quite get the royal treatment we all deserve.

Firstly they have agreed to cone off an area of the car park so that we can all park together and in prime location.

Half hour driving experience, they only have a limited number of slots left on the track but have agreed that for the price of a standard Mercedes driving experience you can instead opt for an AMG vehicle. The cost is £95.00 each, in additon one of our lucky group (to be drawn at random, out of a hat so to speak) will get the experience for FREE.

Had a few issues to deal with but I've sorted them out and I'm back to play!

I've made a note of the meet and will be with you guys, either at Brooklands or Bluewater - or both

Welcome back Rashman!

Rashman's reputation proceeds him so anyone that has met him before will know that getting him to agree to any date which has not yet had a detailed weather forecast is impossible. The slightest chance of rain will see him parked for days as a precaution.

So with that in mind and the fact that a number of the AMG regulars are unlikely to make it on the 14th as long as the sun is shinning a few of us may make it down to welcome Rashman back in style. So look put for those PM's!
