No heated seats in this weather! OK, OK so I am a wuss....

What about these? Replacement seats would be better of course but they are rarer than a negative vote for Wagner and expensive!

Plus - anyone know how easy hard they would be to fit? i.e. Do the covers come off CLK seats fairly easily? It's a facelift W208 CLK230 AvantGarde (Y2000) with full leather

Interesting. i'll be watching this one. Did you check to see if your seats are already pre wired for heated pads? I think some are. Still need to check my own.

I did a post some time back about heated seat retrofit and thats the exact ones I used.
They were ok but others have said there were better ones out there, where you can cut them to shape etc.

I'd buy them and give it a go - nothing to loose. Just buy the switch row (IIRC £100) and a loom (£35 - £40) and a lot of patience when stripping the seats down.

I was just checking through my old posts and I didn't do the write up on it - I was sure I did.

Here is all that I can find HERE , switch row options and loom.

I'm sure I have the photos somewhere, but if you need any info on it let me know...

Hi,
As yours is a 208, I believe you will be able to use the dash mounted switches from the 202, loom might be a bit more problematic as a lot of looms nowadays have been discontinued, but once you have the switch and seat pads installed, you could make up your own loom, I can give you the wiring diagram for it if you want as its the same as a 202, the switch is all you require as it has the timer built into it.
The dash panel will have to have two new holes cut in it, easy to do but hard to do neatly if that makes sense, or you could buy a new dash panel, I have done both on my 202's and reccomend if you can afford it go for a new panel.
