AMG Estates - help me find one

I have got to the point that I "need" to have an AMG .. I miss the V8 and the power.

The E230 just does not cut it.

Am looking for a C or E class estate, must be V8 AMG, and not more than £15k (although I don't want to spend more than £10k). I think this means the following are possible:

C43 AMG Estate (202)
E55 AMG Estate (210)
C55 AMG Estate (203) - maybe

Must have sunroof.

Not in a hurry, so am prepared to wait.

Colour: prefer dark colours, but anything considered if good car.

There are a few W211 E55 estates around just over 15k. Mileage is usually high though

I saw a CLS 63 at MBWorld a while back in designo Mystic red with the black and white interior , and it was stunning.

The 203 55 or 211 estate would be my advice too.

There are a few W211 E55 estates around just over 15k. Mileage is usually high though

211 E55 -- less keen on them as they have more to go wrong .. super charger, airmatic etc

however .. I didn't think they were that low

Have to agree with you there. I just picked up a w211 a few weeks ago. Great car and its a big leap forward in power and technology but the amount of electrics in the car that can go wrong is mind boggling

But so much quicker ...

Why is the sunroof a deal breaker ?

I like light and once had a car without a sunroof, which I hated. Plus being able to tilt is a pleasant way of venting the car. I use the a/c once a week only to keep it lubricated. Hate a/c .. except when it is very hot.

Hi, I am new on this forum although I've owned a few Mercedes in the past (W123 and W124s). Currently shopping for a C43 T as well (sorry). I had noticed that vendor as well and wondered if you had a look at his C43s? The dark one looks good but suspisciuosly cheap?

Also have seen the red/maroon one at Avantgarde's but am not keen on the colour, at least on pics, plus the 9k silver LHD one on ebay, a bit steep in price? Not aware of any other C43s estate for sale at the mo...
