Howard, I may well do, also because that car looks particularly well maintained (Avantgarde seems to sell a few nice cars), but unfortunately I am not sure my partner likes it, which makes it that bit more difficult a sell (to her).

Have you had any joy with finding a suitable car so far? It seems like there are only 3 C43 estates on sale in the country at the moment (at £4.2k, £7.5k and £8.9k).
I have just seen some clips of various C43s on youtube, sounds fantastic! Made me really want one so I have emailed Avantgarde, although I fear he won't budge much on price...

same lack of time for the 2 C43's mentioned earlier
but deep down I want a very nice one owner 05 C55 Estate (way beyond budget at £21,500)

AirCon is great as you don't have to suck in all those hot, Black Cab and London bus fumes....yuk
Sunroofs just weaken the roof of the car and eventually leak

Cool, I'll let you know if I see any of the C43s. Quite set on the C43 but must be estate. Also looking at W124 estates (but these are either overpriced at 'specialists' or bangers).

Totally agree, as I am tall I don't usualy rate sunroofs that much as they take away from headroom. Hope I fit in the W202 C class btw! (6ft5, have never sat in one)

I like fresh air (when not in London) and sun ...
Air con reminds me of the office .. plus it's very dehydrating
