I got mine before delivery too its triggered by registration supposedly.

Nope, nothing....clearly I'm not a good enough customer

I've sent an email to the contact details on the PL and will hopefully get our two free events (one for GLE and one for GT). The missus is keen to do it so that'll give one of the instructors a very sedate afternoon.

Going to struggle anytime soon as we're (hopefully) moving into our house in the next week and I've got a BMW M-Intensive trackday booked at the Nurburgring towards the end of October. I've asked if AMG can do the week between Christmas and NY.

Don't sweat it. I got my email September, despite July pick up, and the car arriving in June. So it seems MBUK systems messed up. BTW on the PL i'm Celikkol, we have had some chats there previously.

Great looking car in Red and the interior is sweet. Have a red 2013 SLK55 in that colour and it really suits sports cars (not small, but more squat, low and wide cars such as ours)

Im having a rear lamp unit replaced as there seems to be some minor cosmetic issue, in that there is some red marking/colour in the clear part of the unit. weird.

I have spent 8 hrs on tracks and airfields in mine now and it's mightily impressive and the best handling car I have ever owned (couldn't comment further than that)

and after having had that pro driver taken me for a spin with the GT-S on track. (he did some more laps where he was pushing it as I mentioned I also drove on track)

The level of grip/balance on normal road tyres for a stock RWD car is amazing!
And even better was the capability of the brakes after the short straight.
I'm impressed.

oh, yes indeed, was us. (only at that time I didn't know it was you, lol)
We had just walked into the lounge area again when someone from MB world grabbed us and said they would do a tour for us.
We explained we already had seen it all (as we arrived 2 hours before the event started) and that we didn't want to miss the 2nd Q&A with DC.
He said he would give a very small and quick tour of only that part.
That's alway why we slipped away at the end of that tour....we didn't want to miss DC's 2nd Q&A.....

Would be nice to do more meets in the future to get to know ppl from here
