Payment of deposit monies goodwood Trackday.

Hi Guys, Payday, I,m afraid. Theres been a few choping and changing going on in the last 24hours, Dizwen in for the 29/4 and Gaz 1 has been moved over to 13/8, couple of other issures but seems we are set, heres where we are at this time and date;
29th April definite 16 no. plus poss; BQF (not heard from him)

13th August definite 15 no. plus poss; Rashman (pondering) and Jon Mad (not heard)

So 31 places difinites spread over two days. These numbers impact on the deposit monies we require for the two dates of £3000, making the individual amount due over and above the £84 previously discussed, but I am proposing to leave the deposit amount as £84 each per date, other wise its going to get messy, and I will make up the shortfall in the form of paying virtually my full payment for the two dates. 29 x £84 = £2,436 plus my two date payments of £620 leaves us £3,056.
I will be PMing everyone in yesterdays posted list with my Bank account details, I would prefer post dated cheques, say dated end of next week, but if this ackward, please advise and I will PM Paypal and Bacs details.
I will be keeping an account book for the whole of this process, whos paid, how much, how paid, date paid etc, so none of us get into any disputes over monies.
Lastly, with exception of the possibles as listed above, I propose that once the deposit is paid and we are confirmed that both these dates are ours, that any newcomers to our little venture are asked for the full amount of £310 per date, to take their place. Hope this is OK with everybody. I will later discuss with you all the final payments, but just to say that all the listed guys here already, you be asked to make the cheque out to Goodwood, but sent to me, but this all for nearer the dates.

Again I reiterate, as previous, that the deposit monies that I am asking you to pay will be non refundable.
Minor, but asking, Goodwood will require a booking name, I am proposing to name our group "MB Club UK and friends", hope this is Ok with everyone, more so the Admin and Mods here, please do advise if anyone unhappy with this.

No sorry, Simon or any others who have not got a handle on things here, the Cheques are to be made out to my name and address, details as I have PM,ed everyone this morning.
I am going to pay Goodwood the £3000 deposit with my credit card, your cheques, made out to me, are going to help settle my card balance of £3000 or the large proportion of it. Hope thats now clear.

Payments for final payments nearer the dates, by the existing listed attendants will be wanted to be made out to GW, will advise this at later date.

Latest update on our trackdays at Goodwood

Hi guys, Sorry to have been a little quiet, but been dealing with some of my own stuff, and also pursuing avenues of acquiring further Mercedes cars for our venture, not very sucessfully to date unfortunately, although I did try.

Just to advise the listed parties as below, as of Tuesday I will be in receipt of all the deposit monies for the one/two dates they are all allocated. Also to let you know, I am still not in receipt of the Goodwoods contract and their invoicies for the two days, but am in contact with them, and they inform me that they have a couple of admin problems but I will receive said papers shortly.
Subsequent to numerous discussions last night at the Bluewater meet, I am proposing the following; to leave August date (currently 15 no.) open for potentially further Mercedes cars for the short term, moreso as a couple of the guys here on the forum want to see whats going on in April before they commit, I am thinking thats fair enough, better to have people we know onboard with us, so let us wait till May, re August.
In regard to Aprils date, currently 17 no. I am suggesting that we now outsource for the last 8 no. we require, Its not ideal in my eyes, but needs must, to make the days numbers up to the 25 we need and allow the day to be made. Now without sounding a dictator here, what we do not need is loads of you flood me with Fred, Joe ,John etc wants to come, we already have 3 no. guys, non Mercedes, 1 BMW, 1 Albarth, 1 BMW540, been waiting for me to sayso, once the Mercedes route was exhasted, so may only be looking for 5 no. more, albeit these three parties are not confirmed as yet. I personally would prefer, to bring on board light hearted good willed people, not full on gunho ben hurs, this day is not about that sort of attitude, I certainly dont wish to see it, and am sure the majority of all the current guys listed dont, so please be selective in throwing up any potential interested parties, we still have 3 weeks plus, before the prime money for Aprils event need to be paid, so as I can pay full Aprils monies early, and avoid any potential contract breaches, given my name will be on the contract. On the back of what I have just explained, to be fair, it would have to be first come first served basis, I am afraid, with a possible reserve list, in case anyone drops out.
If any of you think this is either unfair of have a better way to deal with the remaining places, please post or PM me for a further discussion on the matter, I am quite open to suggestions/ideas.

I have handed out some copies of Goodwoods, H&S, Driving rules and general site information to a few of the guys at last nights meet at Bluewater, and will shortly upload this information to the forum for all of you to read, which you should all do.
Hope this info keeps you all up to speed with how our venture is proceeding at date.

Goodwood contract and invoice

Hi,
Just to readvise progress, the belated Goodwood contract and invoice has arrived with me this morning. My next step is;
1. to get the final numbers for April onboard,
2. For Aprils attendants, to get all of the Goodwood, H&S, driving rules and site information to the forum, for you all download and to read, (sorry one of these papers is being a bugger to upload at the mo), and then you all to acknowledge to me via PM that you have read and understand all the information contained therein. A few of you already have hard copies of these papers as handed to you at our BW meet last Saturday
3. The full monies for Aprils attendants will be needed to be with me by the 27th January, so as I may pay the full amount for Aprils event and return the signed contract to Goodwood by the 31st January. Doing this for Aprils event will, whilst paying the full amount early, will allow me to sleep soundly, re this contract liabilty, it will be fully paid up, and we have till May to sought numbers and finalise Augusts event payments.
Hope everyone is OK with this.
Just a personal sorry from myself to Aprils guys, re paying the deposits, then no sooner asking you to pay the full amount, really not meaning to mess you all about, but the unexpected contract details as previouly said in past posts, mean I am rather dealing with all this, as it unravels before me. But April is vitually completed.

As said previously, we are now making efforts to outsource as need be to make Aprils numbers. we are now joined by FZT and his M3 at no. 19, I am just about to take steps in the next couple of days to fill the last 6 places for Aprils date, these being to post up in a particular forum section I have avoided to date, then finally to ask Goodwood themselves to fill any remaining places, (to which GW have said they could), so if anyone within this forum is intrested, or anyone wanting to ask friends etc, be a good time to get yourself or them involved.
