Just had the glass replaced in my Omega Seamaster. I thought it was plastic, but it turns out to be 0.7mm mineral glass.
Found a local watchmaker and he did it same day for £40, including a complimentary clean and pressure test. Also measured its time keeping and general health. Still in manufacturers spec after 40 odd years.
