Any thoughts on this car?

It has a proper grille and gunsight so a thumbs up from me :)

Does look nice, do you really need an estate? I seem to think they're a bit big for the 220, might get better MPG with a 250, but does look pretty tidy.Just a thought.

Yes need the space for when we have the kids and pushchair in the boot.

It doesn't need to be a speed machine, that's what my car is for.

Just need the space when we go out without having to take my car all the time.

Looks good to me.
Unusual to see the proper star gunsight on a "sport" model

looks well :-)

Are there different grills than?

The 'elegance' (and some others) have that grille, with the star stuck up on the bonnet, same as mine, some have the sports grille, which is the one with the massive star in the middle of the grille.

I too prefer that "proper" grille. Classier IMO.

Looks a great car , am suprised as already said that it has the star on the bonnet for a sports model , and the grill looks like an elegance model ,, my comments may be to late , did you go look and buy the car ??

From Mercedes dealer - better prep, more trusted mileage, better pedigree of stock i.e. probably from a trade in rather than auction car from side street traders.

Looks good to me too. Nice colour and trim.

It was indeed a trade in and originally sold by them.

It's not all pretty. 130 mile drive home and there are issues.

-Tracking is so out I have to steer right to keep in straight line, dangerous at 80mph
- new tyres fitted, a work experience kid must of balanced the wheels as the vibration at 70 is horrible.
- drivers washer jet doesn't work
- rear washer when used also activates the fronts. Although a smaller burst.

However the dealer will sort it all and drive 130 miles to collect and drop off temp car even though I offered to take it to the local stealers.

This is why I went direct.

Getting tracking and tyre balancing usually aren't issues these days. On the other hand, one tyre might have sustained damage by the previous owner driving into a pothole, or the rubber is distorted that it can't be balanced properly.

Drivers washer jet should be easy for them to fix, though the reverse operation of the washer jet is weird!

Hope you get the little niggles sorted soon.

:dk:I don't understand why you would buy a car like this over a three wheeler?:D

Very nice and all issues to be sorted out, enjoy
