A few years ago I got the job of introducing my Dieselmax pilot Andy Green to the joys of circuit racing.
BBC SPORT | Motorsport | Speed record man races in Norfolk
As publicity for the current Bloodhound speed record attempt it carried the plate 1000 MPH for the race....his first ever race!
Complete with RAF roundel, he was never going to be a target for other more experienced divers....much!
In the event he finished mid field, a cracking result for a first timer who was 'encouraged to take a wider line' on a number of occasions.

It can’t manage even close to 100 MPH. Top speed is almost exactly half way between 100 KMH and 100 MPH. Nice car and plate though.

Don't know but I do know MK 1 and 1 MK were owned by a local family business in Ayrshire.
Last time I saw them they were both on Mercs 1 MK on an SLK which was in absolute mint condition.
