Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

One question though: who makes up the plate with the incorrect digit on it? Maybe I’m being naive, but I thought there are rules to prevent plate makers producing incorrectly set out plates.
There are a few places that will make them up.

In the pic it looks like a 0 but when you see the car up close it's clear it's an 8. The way the pic was taken it looks like an 0 and i posted that pic a while ago on a BMW forum and i took the dots off the number plate before posting the pic on that forum [if it makes sense what i eman. I'm at work and it's a pic i copied from the BMW forum to post here. Once i'm home i will post another pic that shows that it's an 8 but i've had this plate for few years and i've never had a problem. I will see if i find a pic online when i had the plate on my van that shows the dot more clear.

Here you go..... This is how the plate normally looks 👍

'Show' plates can be made by many online retailers and can have virtually anything you want on them. They are for 'off-road' use though

:D no matter what you say, the plate on that BMW is not an 8, it has straight sides like the 0.
An 8 would have the indentations in it.
It's a doctored 0 not a doctored 8

Sam,

That's a great looking BMW M3 but the plate is just plain wrong.

How could you pay a congestion charge or Dartford toll using that? No camera (including enforcement camera) could possibly read that and decide its an 8. I'm surprised you've got away with it. A nice car like that deserves better than a messed around plate

I think you and Sam87 will have to agree to disagree...or is that Sam07 ??

LOL 😁

Lovely van, aswell, Sam..
:) :thumb:

Thank you!

I should have been more clear in my first post about the dot and what i done to the number plate in that pic but like i said, it was a pic i had posted on another forum and just copied it and pasted here. Apologies for not being clearer, it wouldn't have caused this much attention.
The number plate looks like it does in the van.
To clear things up, i have a number plate that is T80 OCD but i have put a dot in the middle of 8 and from a distance it looks like it says TOO 0CD . Once you're close to the car, you can see it's an 8 but in the first pic it's very clear it doesn't and i agree. Having a bit of OCD with cars, it bothers me that i have to put the dot in the middle of 8 but it's a plate i still like. It's more of a laugh as to be truthful people that actually have OCD, it really does mess their life up.

Now i wish you all have a nice day :)👍

You can't be all that OCD or you would display the registration number correctly, no questions asked!

I just remembered I posted a video on youtube.... It shows how the plate looks.
It's clear some people have gotten too upset about a dot so If anyone sees my other car videos hoping they'll find another plate spaced out wrong to pick on me, i'll save you some time. It's only the blue M3 👍.

Anyways, let's all move on, there's bigger things going on in the world than a dot on a plate 😉

I spotted a G63AMG today with a V12 LEE number plate..... spaced out correctly though unlike some people here with their dots

I'll admit, in the video it is an 8, but the still photos No way does it look like an 8.

So it must be the actual photograph.

Like I said earlier, I'm not against 8s being 0s :D

I'm glad i didn't post mine without a space in the middle :p

Not special to anyone else but very special to a young girl who came to live with us when she was just 5 years old. Her name is IEVA and I bought this to put a smile on her face. She's now our adopted daughter and will soon be 18. I'm looking forward to the day I can transfer it on to her first car.
