Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

ELV11S in an S-Class in Portsmouth on Saturday.

BU51NES also in Portsmouth.

Did you get a look at the driver of the S Class? If you've found the original after all these years your fortune will be made. :D :D

Saw Chris Tarrants S-class a couple of days ago in Cobham, reg. CHU 88 (he's mad on fishing).

(Was too busy clocking the car to see if he was driving)

A couple spring to mind, that used to run around Reading

DR S1C...ie Dr Sic...on the back of a W123 estate owned by one of the local GP's :D

UFO 2 on the back of a Bentley

TUR1BO....on the back of a Porsche Turbo....last seen years ago.

R1 on a Clio of all things.....goodness knows how much that Reg would be worth. Used to be driven by an old girl.

R1 used to belong to my Doctor!

Yesterday near New Malden, a MB 300 Coupe (not sure of my model designations). A big guy at the wheel and the number plate was B16 FKA.

I let him into the queue from a side road but he didn't wave to say thanks. Perhaps that's because he is indeed a FKA.

Hmm, that is clearly a British road (judging by the style of central reservation) but the car is also clearly driving on the right hand side. This is an extremely dangerous place to be in a country that drives on the left!

Cool! And they didn't even launch the car until 2003!

Howard, not questioning your data - but there is still something not quite right here, I think.

Have a peek yourself - they don't list a manufacturer or model which is weird .....

Hi Howard, my apologies. I meant to make it clear that I had no doubt as to you reporting faithfully what was said on the RAC website, but the Conti GT was launched in 2003 so I still think the picture and / or data is suspect.

TUR 80 is a real number plate as it hangs around the Kent area. It use to be on a Turbo 911 some years ago.

Jury's still out on this 1 then. We can assume RAC is inaccurate (which I understand it can be).

'red enzo' on a ... well if you can't guess  ... at le mans

(and i now know how to chav up an enzo - use script style typeface on the plate! - it looked terrible) and no, i couldn't work out what the (UK) plate really was other than the second 'e' was a 3

230 SLK on, a, SLK 230 ;)

that'd be the one - looks like same place too - hotel in north alencon, just off the new toll route - i saw it at the classic race - no wonder i couldn't work it out, we only drived passed and that '0' is really pushing it!

plate looked more scripted than that from a quck glance, maybe i was bit too harsh (still not my choice tho)

RE03 NZO is actually registered to a red Ferrari. How on earth is the owner getting away with it?
