Suffix and Prefix plates run from 1 > 999 with any number in between being available (unless not released because the plate is offensive etc.).

There are special conditions relating to the spacing of characters if next to a ‘1’.

I used to own 3CCE which I deeply regret selling for £150 many years ago, back in the late 60' early 70's. It was on a RR for a while but I now see it's on a Skoda I had it on an Austin Healey Sprite which I sold separately also for £150, it wasn't a very nice example and bastardised by me with flared arches and Carlos Fandango wheels and a non standard colour re-spray

The only exception in the rules relating to the number one (and the letter i) that I could find is that the requirement for the character to be a certain width does not apply.
