I

Is it just me or do others have trouble working out what some of these plates are meant to say?!

No, it's not just you. These people who bastardise their number plates just look complete pr1cks to me. They try to look good but look the complete opposite.

It was amazing how many people stopped to look at it, have their photos taken with it when we were in Whitstable. Since it was first restored in the mid 80's it's had over £120k spent on it! When my brother in law bought it about 8 years ago it had a super tuned 1800 engine which sounded amazing and it would happily cruise well above the legal limit. But it proved too unreliable so it's now back to a lower spec motor.

Yes it's quite incredible. That includes various servicing bits as well as restorations. It had one restoration in the 80's then another about 15 years ago. It's since had more bodywork, various mechanical stuff and the engine swap. The values of these are going up all the time but saying that the cost to keep them in excellent condition also seems never ending!

Easy to spend plenty on them as I can vouch for. 1FCF7AB1-B869-47D7-B5D3-CC2951784597.jpegParticularly this one in my case ….

Wow , more pictures of the interior please
The circular table doubles as a bed base, with two crescent shaped infill pieces stowed under the seats. 😉
