Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

My bro in law had one. Got it new on a 54 plate and got shot of it about 3 years ago with less than 8000 on the clock.
The V2 plate was on this one prior to the Tuono, when I was doing more track days...clocking up almost 8k miles a year!

How about this for a bastardised number plate, just had to be on a BMW

Yesterday I saw one of my favourite types of number plates. It started with S111 and ended with three letters like SMD (or similar).

It wasn’t the registration number - as nice as it was - which made it one of favourite types of number plate, it was the fact it had this at the bottom.

“1st November Susan Monica Davis”

I don’t understand the need to explain it. It’s a nice registration number, there really is no need to explain, if anything it cheapens it IMHO.

Apologies if anyone reading this has a similar explanation on their number plate and takes offence.

Tweeted by the police along with a note they have requested DVLA withdraw it for abuse of spacing regs😂

It doesn't come up on the DVLA / MOT websites so I wonder if they have now done that.

I wanted to look up the engine of this "performance" BMW which I suspect is a wheezy 116d.

The police asked the DVLA to withdraw the number from use. By the way what did you think the number should have been ?

I thought they had already succeeded given it not showing up. Although sometimes plates don't come even though seemingly legit.

At first I presumed it was:

UF17 KEG

But thinking about it, that's a facelift E87 1 Series, so the latest plate it should typically be wearing is an 11 unless a late-registered one (unlikely 5.5 years late I would think) and you can't make a car look newer than it is from plates.

So I would then assume it is UF11KEG with a flagrant change of the second 1 but that comes up with a wheezy grey 2013 BMW 120d so it's not that.

Then UF10KEG but that doesn't come up so it could be that...

But really, I am not sure!

Pretty sure this was the plate but can't find it listed
