Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

Saw KRF 1 on a CLS and V 8 GUE (with a bolt!) on a RR Vogue both in West Byfleet yesterday.

Wasn't being driven by a shepherd was it ? ;)

Couldn't make out who was driving as it was the standard spec Black Range Rover with Black tinted windows!

JE 55 ICA I think it was a ford on the M6 southbound. It's worth more than the car anyway!

Citroen C2 actually, was stuck behind it this weekend in Manchester

Also saw this on a DB9, again in Manchester at the weekend

And where is "JE"? It's not in the list of "local memory tags" on the DVLA Web site, but they are offering "JE" registration marks for sale.

JE doesn't have to be one of the tags, but the "I" is an odd one - most likely answer (I guess) is that it is actually a J ?!!

J, T + U + X are all reserved for personal regs.

I've had a little play with the DVLA online reg checker with this one and failed miserably to come up with the correct number.

If I see Jessica on my travels I think I will stop her for a little word.

Mambo would I be correct in thinking Oxford Road?

I also checked the DVLA online to find what the " I " could be.

It would be interesting to know what the correct registration is.

Shouldnt that be Calvin gone to pick up some SO CK's :D

"AU55 ..." on a Bentley, parked outside the (Aussie themed) Walkabout Bar near Covent Garden.

The only JE55ICA I could get to work would be JES 51C and then tagging the A on (The shape of the final letter looks wrong). The plate is illegally arranged on so many levels. I'd love to hear the explanation! ("What do yuo mean I can't put my name on the back???!)

My guess is that it's JE55 LCA, and instead of "strategically placing fixing studs" she's just had a dodgy plate made up. If you're going to break the law, why not go the whole hog? (She'd be well advised to take the "fair cop" stance if Plodd finds her, though, I think.)

The unsold JE55 ?CA marks are here.

Food for thought: one requirement of a registration mark is that it's easily memorable. Surely this fits that bill?

As mentioned though, the J at the start doesn't look right ... it should have a much more noticeable upturned bit at the start of the bottom line (using the standard font).

But then so should the C, which has the same construction as the J. The end curves on the C in the other picture stop quite short, too.
