Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

51C on a VW Golf R32 in Sutton Coldfield today.

S70 URF on a VW Golf with a Surfboard on top!

' 1912 AD ' on a white A class in Teddington , the woman who was driving it, i would reckon that it was her birthdate she was so old ....

' BSJ 4 ' on an Audi cabrio in Kingston ....

Saw "JAN 1E" on something relatively humble yesterday ... but can't remember what :o

E11LORY on something or other this morning in Walsall.

Wonder if it was valid...

Hang on - 2.0 CORSA???????????

Yep, definitely a legit reg plate and re: the engine, it's not uncommon to transplant a 2.0 XE engine from the calibras into them, I have a couple of friends running stripped out corsas with the calibra turbo 2.0 XE's in that're even quicker! Not being funny but they really are a force to be reckoned with. Yes they might be front wheel drive but with the correct chassis setup you'd be amazed at the traction and the handling isn't actually bad, they don't understeer as much as you'd expect under the power but this is aided by LSD's. I've seen them give some big motors a good thrashing (legally I might add)

The plate makes me chuckle on his car purely because I know what's under the bonnet. Although not as quick as the turbo XE's, still... they don't hang around and although the standard 2.0 litre is not a match for half of your guys' cars for all the little smug drivers who think they're driving something special it wipes the grins of their faces when it happily cruises by with little effort and lets them know it, don't know if you'd called it subtle but either way.... G37 FKD! Hehehehe :D

I went to Santa Pod last year and there were lots of Novas running 12 and 13 second quarter miles!! That's pretty quick!!

FU2 on a red S Class (W126) a few months ago in Beaufort St, Chelsea.

D20 OKS on something or other (maybe E-Class) near Knaresborough today, but the D had a black screw cap in the centre and was spaced like this:

B R O O K S
