Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

Apologies for the language, but figured it was in the spirit of fun, and that no one would mind too much. (I'll remove if requested)

Lucky Boy.

Back in the late 80's or very early 90's i saw "TUR 80" spaced to read TURBO on a 944 Turbo. Was intensely envious at the time because i was driving a RS Turbo escort Series 1.

The number plate certainly doesn't apply to the car, so perhaps the interior stinks? :)

My brothers just bought P14 AYU spelling PL4AY U

I saw that plate (A 12 NOB) many years ago on a Fireblade at Box Hill on a Sunday! Ahhhhhhh those WERE the days:)

Yeah we used to to go and play with the bikes at box hill in my old bosses and his mates :-

911 ( 993 ) Turbo
996 GT3
993 RS
Ferrari 360
Ferrari 355
Cerbera etc etc etc ..... they were car nuts with too much cash , i was happy to tag along !!

Lots of fun to be had at Box Hill ... ;) then they put the hatched area to spoil the fun ...

Once we were in the GT3 , going to Bognor for Sunday breakfast , and we came off a dual carrigeway roundabout alongside a Pug 205 GTi , my pal says ' watch this ' and boots it ......

The Pug starts slowly but inexorably to pull away from us  , we can see a strange coloured flame coming out of the exhaust .... hmmm ..... Nitrous ;)

Anyway , he was good up to a certain point and then the GT3 buried him ...

Gave him the thumbs up at the next set of lights though and he had a big smile !! Those were the days my friend ..... down to Ryka's for a sunday burger !!! ;)

1 JEZ (or JEZ 1) on a meaty looking black G-Wagen near Walsall today.

It had V8 Kompressor badges on the front wings (so maybe a G55K?) and an even tastier driver - both things distracting me from remembering whether the "1" was at the beginning or the end!!

AMG 1 on a silver CLK convertible (I think) just outside Workington about 4pm.

Colin.

Saw 1 WUN on a silver BMW 3 series this morning parked outside the Khyber pass in Knaphill!

I`ve just bought B160 AVE (BI6 0AVE) from the latest DVLA auction, just waiting for the retention certificate to turn up. :D

hi have the number ML55NEW on retention which was on my ml 320 sport,i am selling this number if anyone is intrested.

How much do you think ?

I saw R1 on a Range Rover Sport at a Snetterton race meeting a few weeks ago.

I was almost (ironically) T-Boned by a some daft bint in a Audi TT which looked liked it had T80NED as the registration. I almost laughed...

I also seem to recall a Toyota Supra with J11HAD (Jihad) but I recall reading that this may have been withdrawn due to religious sensativities.

Lovely drive to work yesterday morning - no precipitation, sun shining, and no traffic to speak of.

Something unmistakable pops into my rear view mirror with astonishing pace, and I slow to make sure he gets past, and this is attached to the back of it:

S 50NDA

Any guesses??

Pagani Zonda   :bannana:

Not my favourite supercar, but it's not every day I see one of those on my day to work. And it has a great engine too!! :D

Even on light throttle it sounded like God going off on one.

W1 RED

on an Astra. Not the best car, really.
