HSS had (or evidently still have!) quite a collection of HSS plates. I used to work for a sister company of theirs before they had a Managment Buy-out and remember pulling into their Head Office car park to see almost all of the cars sporting HSS plates

I used to work at Cussons who make the soap.

At some point I believe they took over the firm who made 1001 carpet cleaner. They had loads of plates with one or two letters and 1001.
