Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

VDP 1 on a (impatiently driven) Hyundai 4x4 yesterday in Suffolk.

And A3XLF spaced as A3XL F on a Boxster in Felixstowe (maybe Eddie Murphy secretly moved there, or maybe Mr Alex F-something is dyslexic?)

Justed checked that number on RAC and it is not recognised??? I wonder if it was being used in a film?

John

1987 Rolls Royce 6750cc . . white.

Just been into the West End saw some great ones, the one's that stood out:

E1 EEE on Bentley Conti GT
G4 FFA on a Porsche 911
LAW 2 on a Range Rover Sport
S4 PNE on a BMW 3 Series

And I heared a lovely V8 burble and then this went past:

CO51 CAN (Cos I Can!) on a CLS63 AMG - It sounded absolutely awesome... :D

1 RD on an X5 tonight.

A 69

On a black Range Rover, oh err.

I'm not sure ir this has been mentioned already, but it just popped into my head. A Range Rover belonging to the owner of Pink Punters (google it if you want :o ) had the reg B1 GAY, i'm not sure if it has been replaced since it was firebombed

SL 07 AMG

Bet you cant guess what that was on!!!!

I've got ML 05 AMG - guesses invited as to what that is on.......

:D

I've posted before about B1 JAY which I saw maybe 10+ years ago on an E-Class.

I saw it again at the weekend on a Boxster.

....reminds me that 1800TU frequently appeared on RRs in photoshoots in the '70s - I never understood the reference).

A lot of the ' TU ' plates are owned by RR and Bentley for the press cars.

RR own 1505/1900/2000/3500TU TU - The Ultimate? nah - as stated earlier they have no significance- RR press officer Simon Hucknall confirmed this to me.

TU was the registration letters for Crewe - where the RR factory was.

I had an I-Spy book of car registrations : it had a list of towns & registration letters.

It also included a lovely photo of a car sporting the plate 2 FAT

:bannana:

Just saw ' 41 AW ' on a w208 CLK in Teddington and then saw ' 80 BX ' spaced to read ' BOB X ' on a CityLink van in Hampton  ....

Just saw "DIG 10" on a big low-loader lorry (digger hire company?)
