Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

Lovely story, Jonathan! I like plates as well, although I'm having a clearout and have three for sale.

X10 TTT, TW08 ENZ and TW08 UGS. If you (or anyone else) are interested, let me know.

Here is dodgy usage of 6 in a plate, but I like the sub one!

thanks for the offer but i have to many on retention already you shouldnt have much problem selling them, especially the last two ebay is your best bet theres loads on there. that 6 does look dodgy especially on a black plate. i was thinking of putting VFM 1 on my c280 with a black plate as the car is black but i think the police would make me take it off before i could put it on. i know they have a job but whats the problem as long as you can still read the plate. fair enough if you alter letters or add dots but spacings and black plates shouldnt matter.:dk:

Today I saw SAR 4H (Sarah?) on a very nice Bentley! :)

Saw C63 BLK on a Black W204 C63 in Kensington this afternoon - looked and sounded awesome.

Also saw PROFF on San Marino plates on a current shape Mini - looked pretty smart, also in Kensington.

Hi i love plates i bought a plate for my daughter before she was even one years old. I got her W111OW X as her name is Willow and my other daughter is called Ocean and a got her X OC64N both of them dont know about the plates and on there 17 birthday or when they get there first car i will register it for them i have spent about three hundred quid at least so far just keeping them on retention and theres going to be about another five hundred to go. can you picture there face's when they get there cars with there names on them.

I did the same for my son, I got the plate MOR63N for him when he was 6 months old ......
Did a deal with my Mum, his grand mother, that when he passes his test he gets what ever car she has at the time. Its on her shopping car at the moment.

Glad I'm not the only crazy one! I got a plate for my first niece when she was about 8 months. Then when my daughter was born I managed to get her a plate when she was just over 1 week old :o

She's called Alayna and we got A14 YNY, will need to find out where A14 YNA is now, it was on a BMW 3 Series Convertible last time I checked...

Driving along the Western Avenue today I was behind a nice looking S class, badged as an AMG, but was obviously a diesel and wearing S400 AMG and then, in the Haymarket I saw an AMG badged CLS with 1 AMG. Nice plates!

saw KET4N on a nice blue s class in stanmore this morning and

1 LNS on a silver SLK in stanmore again.. nice nice

thats a nice plate and a free car cant be bad

kids cost to much or is it really for us, think of it that its the only part of a car that wont go down in money :bannana:

My wife thinks i'm mad to. When i bought VFM 1 i didnt have anything like the £16,000 price tag that they wanted, and i new she would go mad with the cost if it. So i put it on a credit card and gave it to her for christmas. when she asked me how much it was i told her its a gift i cant tell you. i think i got away with it. just finished paying for it three years later and four credit cards later.

It doesn't stand for Value For Money then, Jonathan?:D;)

Saw ENZ8 (with yellow screw cap in the middle of the 8) yesterday on a Ferrari Enzo at Donnington Park. He was following a Zonda F into the paddock. I didn't catch the Zonda's plate - I was too busy drooling.

my cousin has R 5 OLE on his little saxo..

He'll want to be giving his insurance company a ring then , as it's not listed as being insured ... guaranteed a pull with a plate like that ..

Not listed with the DVLA or with the Motor Insurance Database ...

if you ask my wife what it stands for she will say VERY FORTUNATE MAN
and if you ask my apprentice he will say VERY FAT MAN
my mates come up with things all the time VICTOR FU**ING MELDREW but the truth is it is ment to be VALUE FOR MONEY as you rightfully said you wouldn't think so. still looks good on the car and you cant take it with you when your gone.

live for the moment because i cant afford tomorrow. :wallbash:

1 AMG is on a CLS320 - prior to that it was on a BMW X3- so the owner never quite gets it right - although he's getting there!

not sure if i've mentioned this before, but i see:

'S O' on a black top-line Lexus most days on my way to work. sometimes has a flag attached to the wing.

'FIONA F' (F10 NAF) seen today on a Bently Continental and looked very good.
