Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

1 LET on an Audi. Pretty sure it belongs to one of the letting agents but can't remeber which one. I see the car on a regular basis and can't remember if it's an A4 or an A6 either.

Owned by Graham Gillespie of Gillespie Mining, forming part of his collection: G 1, G 2, G 3, 4 G, 5 G and 6 G. The last three were bought at DVLA auctions in 1992/93 for hammer prices of £14,500, £10,000 and £7000 respectively.

Maybe he needs the number plates F1GHT or PUN6H
"Gleneagles has been the scene of a number of disturbances in the past.
Last year, millionaire Graham Gillespie, 50, punched James Young at the luxury venue during a drinking session with former Rangers boss Graeme Souness.
Property and mining tycoon Gillespie was banned from the Perthshire hotel for 12 months.
He was fined just pounds 1000 and ordered to pay his victim pounds 300 compensation, despite the fact it was his third conviction for assault."

I didn't know that these sort of things are going on at Gleneagles...

Hate to be a killjoy and yes some of these numbers can be fun (I have a private plate myself) but this is the reason misspacing is illegal.
Maximum fine being £1000 .......

The second best reason I've heard of for not messing about with the spacing is that when some greasy scumbag decides to burgle your house for your car keys before driving off with your pride and joy, the police ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) cameras which are fitted to traffic cars and used on roadside checkpoints will not recognize the misplaced digits as being your stolen motor so aforementioned scumbag gets to keep your car long enough to trash it or break it for parts.

Saw a good one this evening, although again dodgy spacing and a horrid (non-legal) font ruined it.

5 UES spaces 5UES in a dodgy italic font on a Lexus RX whatever London bound on the M40 this evening.

A plate like that doesn't need mis-spacing...

BO55Y KT on a white Range Rover

Only spotted on the goggle box in some cop documentary last night. Being driven by that impossibly odious Jordan woman. (Who had been done for illegal spacing 3 weeks previous, but was 'waiting for her brother to change the plates back to legal spacing' - presumably because she didn't want to brake a nail doing it herself)

Here's today crop (I believe UNO 2 UNO have already been mentioned):

001 001 on an S Class in Camberley this morning..not sure how that configures...OO 1001 perhaps?

Saw a good one today, KEN 1, on a Land Rover.

Has Kenneth Noye been released from prison?

Did that plate belong Noye at some time? Regarding some of the photos you have posted, I can only view the top part and the rest is just grey. Not sure if it my browser or the photos:dk:
