Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

St. John's Wood, today:

Seen todayon M25 crawling towards Dartford Crossing:-
8 TAL - Black CL500
HC 1000
PAM 9O1
AJW 2 Discovery

A good day for number 1 plates saw these both in Slough, 1 SLR on a black SLR (although it shows up as being a C63) and 1 KTA on Black BMW M5

Also saw 1 SKY on a Porsche 996 C4 in Stoke Poges.

20 TW and 80 TW on a BMW 3 series and a Freelander, both on the next street to me in Broadstairs, Kent. Most annoying as they are my initials

This one seems to be doing the rounds. It was in Sloane Square last week:

And at Marble Arch last night:

Think it belongs to one of these hen night companies, as it was jostling for position with a couple of tackily-registered Phantoms that were picking up some stiletto-wearing bimbos with pneumatic appendages.

Cheers, I knew you'd probably have some background information on it!

It didn't appear to have a front plate and I'm sure the side tints aren't legal. I assumed that it may be a hired car, either way the plate is nice...

Triplex (now owned by Pilkington) have TEN 20, the 1970s brand name for their toughened laminated windscreens.

Aren't Pilkington having financial difficulties these days?

A reg I'd like to own 789 TEN spotted around 10 years ago on a modest car.
