not edited in any way. I registered this plate with Davies's County Motor Vehicle Department office in Owensboro Kentucky, in 2004, just to see whether it could be done and to see what the lads back here would think, As the rules in USA state that it can be anything as long as it's not offensive. Where I lived was so backwater, they barely understood me, nevermind what a derivation of the inventor of the Rotary Engine was...

Technically they're "show plates" (ie: not strictly legal for road use/MoT purposes), as the only authorised options are GB with the Euro stars; one of the four national identifiers for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland; or nothing at all.
