This much loved car has had one careful lady owner, who can no longer get in or out of"Blossom".

Hmm. If she can't get into it, how does she know she can't get out of it? Unless she's already in it, in which case presumably she's included in the sale?

Well she can only get out of the car, if she is in it... so if she can no longer get in, then she also lost any opportunity to get out, and therefore 'can't get out' is correct...?
