Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

They’re German anyway, aren’t they, the royal family?

The Porsche crest on the number plate of a Range Rover. Maybe reused the plate when switching from a Cayenne to a Range Rover, or a modern day equivalent of the "My other car is..." sticker.

On a Japanese medium sized estate car IVA TEST

Is that legal?

Only if it meets the correct criteria:

IF
  1. You’re visiting and don’t plan to live in the UK.
  2. The vehicle is registered and taxed in its home country.
  3. BUT - you can only use the vehicle for up to 6 months in total - that can be a single visit, or several shorter visits spread over a 12 month period.

His official residence is probably in the St John's Wood area.

Quite a few diplomats live there.

The Czech ambassador also lives there, he used to drive around in a BMW for many years, a couple of years ago he swapped it for a Skoda Superb, I suppose someone whispered in his ear...

I saw this today near Lords on a Skoda.

I was wondering that I don’t think this type/format of reg was available with a Z in it.
Is it an Irish plate or did the authorities make an exception?

DRs are either regular registrations (even ones voided previously), or, they are outside the normal issue sequence and so may use letters which UK plates use so can contain I, Q and / or Z as part of the reg.

So it could be Northern Irish or just one beyond say 1CYE.

Both Norfhern Irish plates??

No idea.

There are plates like 111 D 111 as well.
