I saw this today near Lords on a Skoda.

I was wondering that I don’t think this type/format of reg was available with a Z in it.
Is it an Irish plate or did the authorities make an exception?

Today, this: B055 SST on this W221 near Bradford

...then 10 minutes later a Sikh gent was driving "6055" on a W222. What is it with S-Class owners and the word BOSS ?!? [emoji3]

No idea.

There are plates like 111 D 111 as well.

I reckon those style plates are for the run about diplomatic cars.

DRs are either regular registrations (even ones voided previously), or, they are outside the normal issue sequence and so may use letters which UK plates use so can contain I, Q and / or Z as part of the reg.

So it could be Northern Irish or just one beyond say 1CYE.

BAD IDEA on an M4 convertible - think plate was actually BA07 DEA.
Really don't agree when people do that with plates though....
