This is one of my next-door neighbours reg on a VW a couple of years ago.
Last week his wife got pulled by the police on the school run with the plate now on an Audi S1.
She reckons if it was on a Range Rover, Merc or similar and not a hot hatch she would not have been bothered.
I think an illegal pate is just asking for a pull, It's just a case of when.

Maybe, but I also think one subtle space with no screws or font altering is less likely to get pulled. Also depends on the plod on the day.
I'm guessing that plate is trying to say 'why so slow' rather than 'why so glow' or 'why so low'
Either way, not worth the hassle if you have to make it out

Mactech, don't start me off on number plates again!
I think this issue is on one of them new fangled auto stop/start devices....purely for economy.... of arguments...
I wonder if she has a country cousin called COW?
