BAS/ASR Fault, variation on the theme?

Well, that's it. Done. Switch changed. Dead easy job, took all of 15mins from first screw out to last one in. Been for a spin and no light on so fingers crossed.........:)

The second part number was definitely the one for the car by the way. Think there must have been a change after 99.

Just when you think you've sorted it, the bloody light comes on again! Into WDM it goes then......

It will be one your speed sensor wires. You shoud be able to remove them and give them a bit of a clean. This should do the trick if its not the brake light switch...

Get the fault codes read other wise you will jsut end up throwing parts at it.

Anyone got any pics of where these are? Or is it obvious once you get under the car?

After a diagnostic from the top boys at WDM in Brum, turns out it was the MAF! Replaced last week and not a problem since.:bannana:

Glad you got it sorted. Hope you were pleased with WDM although from your post you seem to indicate this is the case.
