In the original GT the taller you are the more uncomfortable it is, i wouldn't say you had to be very short and an average sized person should fit alright.

Its not a prob in a new GT
Thanks Dan and talking of Dan.... I guess I wasthinking of the Gurney bubble that was fitted to the original GT40 to cater for the taller drivers.

IIRC, and this is going back to when Clarkson first did Top Gear, he couldn't fit in a GT40 so they got the owner, a Mr Noel Edmonds, to review it.

He found he could fit his considerable frame into the new generation of GT and so bought one. With no end of problems (wonder what forum he used?).
 
Perhaps he was being chased by a police car?......
