I have to say, Dave,; I've never been a huge fan of E-types (mainly due to what they repsresent to non-car-afficionadoes), but that's a beaut!

Having said which; 90 grand?! Even for an S1?!

Jason whatsisname wrote that on the screen after a recent top gear program showed the Eagle E-Type which had just been sold for that price, the Eagle cars are a modern car with an old shell and sell for a lot more then that.
In all honesty mine would be worth half that because it is one of the first made in November 1961 and although I restored it it has all the old date tags and plates which many lose over the years. It was stored in a pond I think (rotten through) for 20 years and only has a recorded mileage of 43K which I believe to be true since it was so complete.
Thanks for the complement BTW.

No consensus on anything, in fairness...

Hi KillerHertz,
Did you take the pictures and if so were the number plates added whilst you were taking these pictures? No number plates on the first picture!

Regards,
John

gorgeous - nope sorry

It may all be subjective, but I think that can be applied to a fair few of the cars on this thread.
