Best place to buy a large shed (for the w124)

Why? Don't you have containers and lorries in Cornwall?

I've had a look for local containers, can't find any and Cornwall is Errrm a long way from anywhere!

I don't know how you looked...but I used Google...thousands for sale, new and used.

Would the Army surplus stores have something suitable...?

Have you considered a carcoon?

There is nothing better for the car..

A large shed will just be a condensation trap. Better to leave it out in the weather.

I was going to say a poly-tunnel but I've been beaten to it. The other alternative is to buy a used prefabricated structure which often means dismantling it your self to get a real bargain.

I like the look of that, how do you secure yours down? Does it come with that equipment? As it doesn't actually say in the advert.

Mine came with 4 stakes that you screw in to the ground and then fix the bottom of the 4 legs with steel cable to them. As additional fixing I bought some heavy duty tent pegs and fixed the legs down both sides. I had a friend with a heavy duty sewing machine cut and fit some zips on the far end to make a smaller door so that i didn't have to open the main one unless i wanted to get the car out.

Couple of shots of mine just after we put it up, the creases have all eased out now.

And to give you and idea of the size of the 20 x 12 ft version. My old trailer and MGB were swallowed easily.
