Billy's W124 Coupe Project

Feels good when people say it cant be done but you prove them wrong right?

Of course & I`m still waiting for you to prove me wrong with them OZ alloys you have

There's a vid on youtube somewhere that shows these cars rolling on the highway! nutty!

The car needs to be lowered quite a bit and the rear arches need to be rolled in to make it work. Only thing is, the car is going now so theres no point for the extra work. I'll just use the those OZ alloys on this since they are just taking up space...

It was this one Nick but I thought it was a 320 and not a 300-24
I`d put those OZ alloys on it if I were you

All will be revealed soon :)

My memory deserts me.... Who is doing the wide arch bodywork to all these cars?

Is it a guy called 'Skeete' who modded Renault 5 Turbo's back in the day or is it Clive from Prism?...... Or am i totally on the wrong tracks here and dreamt this all? lol

Lol.. you didnt dream it! We are doing all the work, E7 and NSV Prestige. E7 is Skeete and NSV Prestige is me, Clive is also in the picture too :)

All of it will be revealed soon and I'll start another thread for it.

There is just somthing about the 124 coupes being lowered without an AMG kit on it..

It was my original plan to keep the coupe 'kitless' with just the GEN II front bumper, pretty much like the one below albeit this particular front bumper example is a customised one.

I feel the GEN II kit when viewed side on square's the car up a bit?? i dont know lets see.

Yeah its a very subjective individual taste, but your right it does and certainly has squared up my W124 Saloon. It really brings back the early 90's "periodness" to it, which isnt a bad thing at all if thats what your looking for.

The red coupe has had subtle enhancements to give it a more "progressive" look. It has the 500E rear bumper to add slight visual weight to the rear and the sideskirts have been modified to contour the lines of the arches. The front bumper is a customized version of the 500E one but again adds visual weight. Put it all together, it keeps the original styling of the car but brings it forward.

Ive seen that white one.. same guy who owns the white cab with AMG kit and split rims?
