Bluetooth connection keeps disconnecting after a moment with MB Nokia 6300 cradle.

I've recently bought a Mercedes Nokia 6300 Bluetooth Mobile Cradle A2048201551, plugged it in the armrest, followed the instruction in pairing it with the phone, and once paired, it connects then disconnects after a second.

It appears to be the same problem as this, found on a Nokia forum:

Exception is mine is a 6300 model, not the 6301. I checked that my phone has the latest software, and it was also mentioned to delete all the pairings of the cradle, but looking at the instructions, if more than 4 phones are paired, and you pair a new one, the oldest one will just delete.

Any ideas? I'll e-mail the eBay seller as well before deciding what to do next.

No, I've sort of given up. I just use the bluetooth on my TomTom and use that instead.

Although I did read somewhere that it might work if you press and hold the bluetooth buton on the cradle, at the same time as you enter the code in the phone. I've yet to try it though.
