Body Repair Main Dealer In Glasgow?

Hi folks,

Had a little accident last week when a lady drove into my door and nearly took it off.. ! I went to the main dealer who told me their repair centre is Reg vardy? ! who seem to do work for merc and fords
I was wondering if anyone knew if merc themselves had a body shop for accident repair work.. Im in glasgow central

I got warranty work done there recently: rust repairs and a bonnet re-spray. The job was fine, but the service was a little patchy: they didn't organise a courtesy car for me as arranged so I wasted a journey out to Riddrie through the traffic. They did come and collect my car the following week, dropping off a Fiesta to tide me over. They kept my car longer than expected, and failed to re-set the airbag system which meant I had the further inconvenience of arranging for the car to be collected again. Still, the paintwork looks good.

Ford painwork is actually better than the paintwork/finish on Mercs and I am serious as well!!!

None of Fiestas/Focus/Mondeos suffer from the orange peel paint from at least the last 4 years or suffer from rust/corrosion...

Reg Vardy are/were the main dealer in Glasgow for Merc. That is their own bodyshop.

Reg Vardy is the only Bodyshop,but I used Gillespies,now Arnold Clark in Lenzie.The Manager and some staff are ex Merc and did a great job on the SLK`s wing.

The only other Merc dealer near Glasgow is John R Weir in Grangemouth and their bodyshop is in Perth.

J B Stevenson are a good independant body shop based in Paisley - have used them a few times and their work is excellent.
