am I right in thinking you could get, as an option, a rear seat base with built in kid's booster seats for the E class? (X - 2001, don't knowthe W number)

haven't got one in mine, but my eldest is in a booster seat, and would be nice not to have the Halfrauds jobbie cluttering up the back seat.

could maybe look for one from a breakers if they were an option.

thanks!

Booster Seat

It was an option as i had it on one of our e class estates which was a 2000 car
You dont see them that often so it may have been an expensive option

Hi

Keep a watch on ebay, i managed to get them for the back of my 210. Great job when you have 5 kids under 9!
Paid around £100 from memory.

This is a very old thread I know, but I'm interested in retrofitting the built in booster seats.

Do they have three built in boosters, or just two?

Does the back rest need changing, or just the seat base?

When the boosters are folded down, are the seats any less comfy for adults than the regular ones?

I think i have seen these on a photo ages ago, and i remember thinking that they are easy to identify even when the boosters are folded down. It's something to do with the number of segments in the bottom area, I think. Can somebody confirm this?

Just two. I had them in a W202. Seat base only. Your big passengers will not notice them.
