My 2005 C160 C Class coupe is due its first A service at 12000 miles.

I have been quoted half the price from a franchised dealer for a Mercedes specification service using Mercedes components (only oil change and filter)

There is approx 18 months warrenty left to run on the car would this be an issue.

Has anyone else tried this servicing approach and are there any pit falls ?

I wasnt even aware that there was a c160.. but if the car is still under warranty, go with the dealer... the extra you pay is worth it, imho... can I just ask if you have an auto or manual?

Get a specialist MB independentr garage to do it. They will know the product and be half the price. Your warranty will not be affected in any way but your mobilo cover will be.

C160 coupe

Mercedes took out a 1.8 non supercharged version of the C class coupe. It is automatic and has adequate performance. I have it in SE trim

It looks like Mercedes have now dropped it from the range it is no longer listed in Autocar and What Car ??
