C350e anyone considering one?

I have my car back!! A month after it went in to be fixed I finally have it back and it is really good to have it back. I gave the loan s class back and got into mine and it feels fantastic, every bit as refined as I remember!

Only problem is it now has some scratches on courteousy of the garage. Not impressed, it's going back in again to have that fixed in a few weeks!!

Mine just went back two weeks into mid-April but I got the Dealer to follow up my Grant and he got it back up to £5000 from £2500. Can't be bad

Day 225. Spoke to Mercedes dealer on Friday. Car is out of the factory and in transit and due with dealer end of this week! Managed to get VIN recognised on Mercedes Me. Now to find a dealer happy to activate Connect Me. Has anyone ordering via Lex managed to get their Connect Me enabled?

I found out today that my lease company (Arval) won't allow any of the Connect Me services .

Has anyone managed to get their lease car activated by a friendly dealer?

Any help/comments would be appreciated

Eurgh....why won't Arval allow it?

Is there any reason for the dealer not to activate? Do Arval issue them instructions to not do it?

its the lease companies car, so really a dealer should not enable them without thier permission.... more so when theres legal reasons they have decided against it.

Just hop for a fleet version to be released... but then why would they when the money is all ready in the bank.

Mine is through Arval. When I ordered I asked the lease broker who said he was not aware of any restrictions. I will be kicking off if I can't get it activated.

I'm with Arval and I had NO PROBLEMS getting the Connect Me services activated. The dealer just needed a scan of my licence and the V5 doc from Arval, which they were happy to provide.

Maybe the decision is made on a client by client basis? I work for EE.

I ordered mine on 8th June and finally got a call saying they will deliver it on 4th Feb. About time too ! Nothing special, white premium plus. Just over 8 month of wait, finally.....

I just got Alphabet to approve mine today, they had said a very firm NO previously. I pointed out that for the C350e it was needed more, alerting me to free up charging points, pre-heating the car to maximise economy etc - seems I laid it on thick enough as they have signed the paperwork needed

Quick update on my charging issues. Had the car back last Friday (a lot sooner than the April I was originally advised - my complain to MB must have worked. Apparently there was a faulty batch of chargers and the garage have now replaced a few. They were also asked to rewire as a precautionary measure and all working well now!


I'd be interested to hear if anyone does get the Connected Me service activated through Arval - they wont activate for me but as someone has mentioned I believe they are working on a 'lease version' with MB.

Arval agreed for me with no arguments, so I'm not sure why some people are having problems.

Alphabet approved my set up yesterday. Am waiting for local MB dealer to action.
