C350e anyone considering one?

Glad you like it ... E-SAVE mode is your answer to this. My only gripe is that if I put the car into S+ and start to use the paddles ... there's no way of keeping in paddle shift only - it goes back to normal D (auto mode). Given that it's in S+ and I've used the paddles I'd like to stay in paddle shift until it's taken out of S+

I don't know if it's the same with the hybrid, but I have programmed my W205 C250 to hold it in manual when I switch to the 'individual' setting. I can play around to my heart's desire although it will still change up if I sit at the limiter.

Removed the annoying 30 second switch back though. Maybe worth a shot?

how have you done this? when towing caravan, i find it highly irritating when my car reverts back to D. I want control 100% in paddle mode

Just wondering what the c350e is like pulling a caravan? I'm due my at the end of this month I have ordered it with the towbar. I've never owned a caravan before but was thinking of buying one this year as I have a young family.

Any tips or advice welcome

I've got a Rolec wall pod charger at home and when I plugged the car in tonight the switch tripped on the wall pod- no charging !! Wall pod has been working great every day. Anyone else had this ? Is it the car or the wall pod ? How do you test ?

Tripping out chargers can be the first signs of the water ingress into cabling problem. See Tripping RCD thread.

To elimate the car or charger you need to use another charger. If it trips out its the car if its OK then it may be your wall pod. In reality its slightly more complicated than that but its a good starting point.

Sorry, just seen this. Been in London all day on a rare day without my car.

Will get out tomorrow and revisit. Did it the first week of ownership and haven't needed to change it since.

Ok. Here goes.
Push the car menu button on the dashboard and it brings up the carousel.

Go to Agility Select and then into that sub menu. Then go into 'i configuration' and wheel around until you're on the engine icon. Click on that and it gives you the option to select manual from the mode settings.

Will try with some photos but keeps crashing so will post this first as not writing it a fourth time haha

I've look at the setup of I* on the C350e and the drive option isn't available !

In it's place there's an 'Eco' option.

So unfortunately this manual option for drive isn't available on the C350e ... madness !

I took delivery of mine yesterday. So far I am very happy, coming from a E250 the boot is a little small but I have a roof box when needed.

It is taking ages to get to learn everything, it feels a massive leap forward in tech compared to the W212.

I want to try charging the car at home, if I want to charge at 8a do I just select slow charging on the CCIS box?

Just whack it on max charge rate using the 3 pin. Full charge is 1.5 hrs. No issues at all
